Creative?

When I use the term "creative," I am referring to more than a profession or skill set. I am describing a way of life. I believe there are three pillars that inform a creative approach to living. These pillars represent different aspects of my creative process and inform how I approach my work and my life.

Pillar One:

Creation.

Creation can mean many different things and take on many different forms. To me, creating means partnering with Heaven, or with God, to accomplish some truly amazing and exciting things. When one creates in partnership with God, there are no boundaries or limitations to what can be achieved. God takes center stage and the possibilities are truly endless. From this perspective, creativity is not just limited to the arts or design, but it becomes a way of living where the goal is to cooperate with the Creator for His glory and to impact the world around us!

Pillar Two:

Curation.

Curation is an essential aspect of creativity, because it involves the process of gathering, selecting, and organizing various elements to create something new and unique. Through curation, you can take seemingly mismatched pieces and weave them together to create a beautiful and cohesive story.

Curation applies to so many different things! One way that I love to see curation at work is in events. Scroll down to join the newsletter and stay up to date with future events!

Pillar Three:

Cultivation.

We should embrace and nurture creativity through cultivation - the process of fostering growth and encouraging creativity to spread. My desire is to share what I know and inspire others as much as possible. I have had the joy of doing this through teaching, written materials and online content creation.
